Chain

March 28, 2015

I’ve always been so afraid to let my family down, I turn around and see

I’m turning that way through all the twists and turns of everyday

I remember what my father said, “Don’t be afraid what others say just be yourself –

Remember to stand straight and take your cares to the air, you’re a man now.”

And it’s all okay

We’re not the same

But we are Chain

I remember what my mother said, “Your heart’s a church don’t fill it with that bloody dirt.

I don’t believe coincidence is any end, it’s just a myth to fight the doubt.”

But it’s so hard to see what’s going on around me in this lonely prison cell body

But it’s all okay

We’re not the same

We are a Chain

Such a fool, such a fool

Livin’ life just to fight for my breath
